Hi Mike, While researching some history on your great grandfather for the homework of one of my staff Members children,I came on your site with your design of a new Flag for NZ.

WELL DONE! It"s the best of any I have seen to date and hopefully if the Flag debate takes off your design will be the one chosen.

I think it is really neat, I am now about to spread the word to my Email friends.

Hi Mike
Just read an article on your flag in the TNT mag in London and just want to give you some support with your idea.
I think your flag would make a fantastic start to a debate that must happen in New Zealand in the near future as I for one would rather fly no flag at all than the one we have at the moment. I appreciate all the arguments for and against but really feel that we need to define ourselves from Australia and the UK with something that will be instantly recognisable as from New Zealand

Wow.... your flag took my breath away and made me feel proud to be a kiwi! I have been living in the UK for the last 5 years and feel embarrassed by our current flag. The union jack version, is so one sided and reminds me of all the terrible things that British history have done to destroy Maori culture (though I am not a Maori myself).
Your new flag has meaning to all kiwis; we all love our southern cross, and the silver fern. Your flag makes our country look complete and as a whole, and I would be a proud kiwi in the UK to show it off.
I hope I see a change in the flag in my life time, as New Zealand is moving forward so fast I am sure I will.

Having looked at a lot of ideas for flags, I have to say yours stands out from a crowd of oversimplification or over complexity. The best concept flag and I'd feel proud to hang it high to represent all New Zealanders.
